Muslima Review [ Read This Before Signing Up ]

Try Muslima

Muslima.com is one of the biggest Muslim dating sites in the world right now, with over 6,000 users online at any given moment. It connects people all over the world, and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

The question on my mind is, “Is this the real deal?” I’ve seen countless sites exactly like this one scam people out of their hard-earned cash, and it breaks my heart. So, what I’m going to do is take a close look at what makes this site tick so I can help you decide if it’s worth your time.

First Impressions

At first glance, it’s easy to tell this isn’t some sketchy ‘meet and fuck’ site. It’s a place where people come to find a partner for life, so if you’re just trying to find a one-night-stand, this isn’t for you.

Signing up takes almost no time at all. Email, password, name, age, picture. That’s all you need to get started on your quest for love. Of course, you can add tons of personal information later on, but for the first few minutes you’ll probably just want to check out other users – and I don’t blame you. These girls are hotter than hellfire… well, most of them.

Surprisingly, you don’t have to be Muslim to sign up for the site. Anyone, regardless of religion, is allowed to sign up, but they must be thinking about converting to Islam if they want to choose a life partner on Muslima.

If you want to verify your profile, you’re going to want to fill out some pretty lengthy forms to do so. But in order to find your perfect match, you’ll have to complete these profile requirements. Otherwise, the site won’t be able to appropriately find a match.

So far, Muslima is looking pretty legit, so let’s see if it has any neat features to offer.

Features

With a free membership, you can do some basic matching, and send ‘interest’ to members and also send messages to paying members. Not bad, but with a paid membership you can get straight to the meat and potatoes.

Paying for a membership means you have access to all the site has to offer, including a translator. Since Muslim people all around the world use the site, there are a few language barriers that can pop up from time to time. Thankfully, there’s a translator feature that alters your incoming messages to make them readable for you and your pen-pal.

You’ll also get full access to the sites messaging feature so you can talk to anybody; premium membership or not. There’s also NO ADS with a paid membership. Yeah, that’s right. If you’re plagued by overwhelming pop-up ads, this could just be your antidote.

If you’re feeling a little sketch, you can hide your profile and browse anonymously through the site. I don’t exactly know what this is for since the point of the whole thing is to draw attention to yourself, but I’m sure there’s a reason.

Lastly, you’ll gain access to an advanced matching algorithm that will help you find more matches for you to pick and choose from. It also finds people who are even more compatible with you based on their interests. Now that’s how you find the one.

The list of features is pretty lengthy, so I just touched on the ones I thought were most important. You can find the full list on their website.

Pricing and Membership Details

Love doesn’t come without a price, and neither does Muslima. There are two different kinds of memberships to sign up for, Gold and Premium. The Gold membership will get the job done, but the Premium membership is for anyone who’s truly determined to find the love of their life.

Each membership comes at a pretty hefty cost, but with all those features, it might just be worth it.

A one-month Gold membership is going to cost you $34.99 a month. Keep in mind that you can turn off “automatic renewal” at any time on the site, so if you get buyer’s remorse, you can always save yourself from a lifetime of hidden fees.

A three-month Gold membership is going to be $69.98 (or $23.33 per month) and a full year is going to cost you $139.99 ($11.67 per month).

The Premium membership gives you access to a few extra features I mentioned before (like the translator), and it’s not too much more expensive than the Gold membership.

One month of Premium is $39.99 a month, three months is $79.98 ($26.66 per month), and the year-long membership is $159.00 ($13.25 per month). $13.25 a month doesn’t sound too outrageous if you think about it, but do the pros outweigh the cons enough for it to be worth it? well, let’s see.

Pros

Signing up takes little more than a couple of minutes of your time. You can even sign up with Facebook to make things even easier on yourself. Nothing hurts more than getting stuck on a sign-up page for 30 minutes and having nothing to show for it.

Most of the profiles I checked out were of high quality. It’s obvious that this site is genuinely full of young people trying to find life partners who will treat them right. People really pour their guts out on their profiles to give anyone looking the best possible chance of connecting with them on a personal level, and I think that’s beautiful.

The site has a simple and easy-to-use feel to it, which is a breath of fresh air in a world where most dating sites are over-encumbered by tons of flashy themes and annoying pop-up ads. Muslima likes to keep it simple, and I respect that. It’s easy to tell that the developers really care about people’s experiences.

Cons

To be honest, it’s going to be hard to find a soulmate on this site when there’s not a ton of people in any given area in the U.S., but if you’re in Saudi Arabia or Argentina, you shouldn’t have such a hard time.

The app sucks. It’s a shame since everybody on the planet would rather use their phone than their computer nowadays. The apps match suggestions just don’t load the same way they do on the website, and that’s a big turn-off for me personally.

Like I said before, it’s hard to make solid contact with people on the site. Not only are the users scarce, but the number of deserted profiles I came across was a little alarming. It seems like there are a good bit of fake profiles too. I know most dating sites have a few fakes, but getting 3 messages a day from fakes can be a lot to handle – especially when you’re looking for real love.

Conclusion

Muslima.com is, all in all, an OK time. It way not be everyone’s cup of tea, but if you’re truly looking for a Muslim significant other to start a family with, this is the site for you.

The membership fees can be a little taxing on your bank account, but when you’re given things like the translator feature, you end up forgetting all about it.

Chatting with girls from all over the world is fun and all, but if you’re looking for someone close to you, then you might be better off on Tinder. The scarcity of women signed up in most areas can be worrisome, so if you’re in a small town in the middle of bum-fuck nowhere, you sign want to avoid signing up. I’d recommend signing up for a site with more traffic like Love Habibi or Helahel

Ultimately, if you want to find a beautiful Muslim wife to cherish, you might have some success with Muslima.com. For that reason, I’m giving this site 3/5 stars. The features are useful and creative, but there aren’t as many active members as I’d hoped. With a little re-vamping, this site could be amazing.
